Owned and operated by The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, New York Stewart International Airport is located at the intersection of the New York State Thruway (I-87) and Interstate 84. Stewart covers 2,400 acres. A planned expansion of the passenger terminal will separate domestic and international travel operations and add new space for a permanent customs inspection area.
