WARWICK — Warwick Valley Telephone Company is changing its name and doing business as Alteva.
Stockholders of the 111-year-old company have to approve the change.

Shares of Warwick Valley Telephone will continue to trade under the ticker symbol WVT until Feb. 4. Then, the symbol will switch to ALTV.

Warwick Valley Telephone purchased Alteva, originally a cloud-based unified communications company from Philadelphia, in 2011.
